Opera F1 is a stunning purple hybrid artichoke similar to Concerto but with 1-2 weeks earlier harvest. It produces beautifully colored conical chokes with delicious chunky petals. This very robust plant bears multiple large fruits the first year. Produces even in a marginal landscaping situations. Excellent for eating, but also a great choke for decoration: try putting small chokes on stems in your flower bouquets, or wait until they flower for a real show-stopper.
